The title of this shot may be a little weird, but there’s a reason. If you look closely you can see the water spinning of the reel. The fish is running. Brad is there to give Vic a little advice.
The crew on Reel Quest delivers again
Another pic of Vic fighting his marlin. I like the first image better because the fish is further out of the water. I like this picture because the rod and hints of the line are in the image. Regardless your preference I know my dad really remembers fighting this fish and these images might help keep that memory vivid.
Reel Quest delivers again. Of note, this big guy was immediately released and went on to swim many more miles.
It’s unusual for us to not enjoy a cigar when out on Reel Quest. It’s blessing and one of the few times I smoke these days.
Ok so this photo isn’t from Reel Quest. It’s from Reel Quests predecessor .. Maybe Manana. Sheryl had bought me my camera on this trip and this was a resulting photo. No idea how I got it.
Shimano gear dominates the deck of Reel Quest. There’s a reason why … it’s the best.
Another shot of gear ready to go. Reel Quest is in a constant state of readiness depending on what is seen on the horizon … from Dorado to Tuna … Marlins to Wahoo.
I need to get my image out of this shot and will continue to try and do so. A shot of the guys pushing the boat to fishin’ waters.
A sunset tour allows for good times and nice photography on the most photographed place in Cabo … Lands End.
The one thing that is always assured is that the people allowed on board Reel Quest are good folk. The owners have no need for the riff raft. You always find quality guests, and an even better crew.
