Red on Rye Beach in New Hampshire.
This makes the top of the list for several reasons. Primarily … Red, Beach, Atlantic, and retrieving in the Atlantic Ocean. Red gave it his all this day and you still couldn’t pry that damn ball out of his mouth. On our way back to the Jeep to dry off and make our way home.
Been shooting a fair bit lately and need to post up some of the images. This one I slowed down the SS a fair bit to smooth the water and get the cloud reflections pretty crisp. And then I wanted the rock in the foreground, I just thought that would be a cool effect.
On the coast of NH this is Wallis Sands beach at sunset. I was pleased to get a little starburst out of the sun.
Sheryl and I have a special place in Colorado that we treasure. We’ve spent far too little time there.
If driving from Canon City CO to Westcliffe right after you turn at Texas Creek you’ll encounter this amazing stretch of highway.
It’s the road on our way to that special place … the ride is beautiful as is the destination. So blessed to be able to experience both.
Sheryl and I saw this barn in North Hampton, NH running some errands and we both noted that this should be captured. The lights were amazing. So a few nights later at dusk we got out and I captured a few pics that I was very pleased with. Hence … it makes the favorites list.
Some pictures are the favorite of the photographer alone. This is one of them. Few people love this picture like I do.
I love this picture. It’s soft. It’s dynamic. It has my family’s ranch in it … taken from our place in Colorado that we absolutely love.
Yep, other’s find it boring or dull. Not me … I love it.
Taken on the beaches of Cabo on a photography walk with my dad. This is probably my first “favorite” photo. I don’t quite know what it is about this pic that captures me. Perhaps it’s the composure, or the action of the wave, or perhaps it’s because my dad was standing right next to me.
Of all the pics (so far) … if someone said they’d like this on print I would be most flattered. Sheryl and I did it on metal … turned out amazing.
Red is very simple. He loves harder than anything. He works harder than anything. He will give everything his everything. He will defend his family to his death because he has never, ever, been mad at his family. Red’s biggest fear is letting his mom or dad down … even once. Red will always make the favorites list. This black and white is of a pup who played hard on the WAW ranch and he needs a little R&R time. Though if we mentioned going on a ride or playing ball he’d be all in … immediately.
